Regional Account Manager, Market Access
We are hiring a Regional Account Manager to join our Market Access team! You will play a critical role in expanding patient access to diagnostic solutions. In this high-impact position, you'll strategically negotiate and secure in-network agreements with small health plans and payer organizations, directly influencing patient care and company growth.

What You'll Do:
- Negotiate contracts with insurance companies and group payer organizations.
- Optimize medical policies and prior authorization requirements to facilitate claim reimbursement.
- Maximize reimbursement by negotiating optimal reimbursement rates.
- Manage complex contract negotiations and coordinate with legal counsel as necessary.
- Clearly and professionally present data, scientific findings, and complex information.
- Regularly handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in both paper and electronic formats, utilizing various technologies to access PHI as required by the role.
- Complete required training on HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedures compliance, and security within the first 30 days of employment.
- Maintain current compliance with all Natera training requirements.
- Successfully complete a post-offer criminal background check.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, MPH) highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in managed care contracting and reimbursement within molecular diagnostics or life sciences OR 6+ years as a top-performing sales professional in these sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex payer relationships, including experience with Third Party Administrators (TPAs), Managed Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Self-Funded groups preferred.
- Strong modeling skills in MS excel
- Strong proficiency in navigating dashboards (ex., Qlik, Power BI, etc.,)
- Ability to gather research data and professionally present scientific findings and complex information
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals effectively and timely.
- Hypothesis-driven mindset with superior problem-solving capabilities.
- Passionate about impacting healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
- Being bilingual in Spanish is a valuable asset.

Compensation Detail: $107k-$130k Base Salary + Commission + Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
