B2B Brand & Content Manager

About OLIVER

OLIVER builds embedded agency teams within leading businesses, delivering brand strategy, content leadership, and measurable commercial results. Our expertise combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, helping clients achieve standout brand performance and market influence.

About the Role

As the only company to exclusively design, build and run in-house marketing agencies, OLIVER (part of the Inside Ideas Group) holds a unique position in the market.

We are seeking a Brand and Content Manager to join our strategic partnership with a prominent international B2B events organisation, supporting their North American division. As a vital member of a 12-person team, you will contribute significantly to achieving key performance indicators, focusing on delivering brand strategies and content that drive commercial growth for their brand.

As an experienced B2B Brand and Content Manager, you will drive brand strategy and content excellence for a diverse portfolio. This role involves both guiding and developing client teams while also actively delivering high-impact brand and content work. Success is measured not just by your output but by the effectiveness and capability of the client teams you support.

Our client is a leader in their industry, known for their ambition and innovation. They seek a collaborative partner to help them achieve their strategic goals, and this position is central to fulfilling those objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Leadership:
    • Build and evolve the parent brand, ensuring clear alignment between the central brand and individual event brands across four distinct product families in different sectors.
    • Develop frameworks that drive sustained brand equity and commercial value, fostering a cohesive brand ecosystem encompassing both corporate and event properties.
  • Content Strategy & Execution:
    • Shape and implement multi-channel content initiatives—spanning web, social, email, and events—that serve both corporate and individual event brands.
    • Ensure all content meets the needs of target audiences, supports business objectives, and reflects a unified brand identity.
    • Use insight and data to continuously refine messaging and content formats for maximum impact.
  • Client Team Upskilling:
    • Actively coach and develop client teams to build marketing and brand capabilities, transferring practical skills and elevating overall effectiveness.
    • Lead by example: alongside coaching, undertake the strategic and executional work required to achieve best practice outcomes.
    • Measure success by improvements in client team competence, confidence, and ability to deliver impactful brand and content activities.
  • Commercial & Sector Impact:
    • Partner with the Commercial Strategy & Propositions team to ensure all brand and content work drives tangible business growth.
    • Quickly develop an in-depth understanding of each sector and product family, applying insight to refine positioning and communications.
  • Collaboration & Influence:
    • Work cross-functionally with strategy, creative, analytics, and commercial colleagues, uniting efforts to deliver commercial and marketing outcomes.
    • Champion best-in-class use of marketing technology and ethical AI to optimise workflows and campaign effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

  • Substantial B2B brand and content leadership experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Proven ability to deliver brand strategy and content plans that create measurable commercial outcomes and unify corporate with product/event brands.
  • Skilled in upskilling teams—experienced in transferring knowledge, coaching, and delivering alongside stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, particularly digital, social, email, and events.
  • Experience working across multiple sectors and products, demonstrating adaptability and fast learning.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working collaboratively and independently as required.
  • Curious, resilient, and adaptable, committed to personal growth and driving collective results.

Key Measures of Success

  • Enhanced capability and effectiveness of client teams as a result of your input and development.
  • Strong, consistent alignment between the parent brand and individual event brands.
  • Demonstrable commercial impact across all four product families.
  • Delivery of cohesive multi-channel campaigns with compelling, measurable outcomes.

Values

  • Results First: Everything delivered is tied to clear business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Achieving outcomes through partnership, knowledge sharing, and collective expertise.
  • Integrity: Acting transparently and fairly in all work.
  • Continuous Growth: Proactive about learning, sharing, and driving improvement across teams.

The Opportunity

This 9 month contract puts you at the heart of brand transformation and team enablement in a uniquely varied B2B environment. You’ll shape and influence both strategy and daily execution—making a direct, lasting impact on people, brands, and commercial results. If you thrive on challenge, coaching, and measurable achievement, OLIVER offers a unique platform to drive progress and inspire excellence
