Role: Account Director (Creative Studio)
Location: Stockholm, Sweden (hybrid)
About the role:
In this strategic role, you will helm a dynamic team to develop impactful content across multiple platforms. As a pivotal leader, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior clients, ensuring that exceptional client service and innovative thinking are integral to all endeavours. The Account Director spearheads the team in developing compelling and influential content while maintaining a strong and positive relationship with the Agency Chief. They will operate in close partnership with the Agency Chief on initiatives taking direction and steer where appropriate, with a shared responsibility for execution, problem-solving, and delivery. The Account Director also provides exceptional strategic client service and creative insights while actively pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth. They establish and nurture strong senior-level client relationships, earning trust as a valued advisor. The Account Director reports to the Group Account Director EMEA and manages one Senior Project Manager, with dotted lines into creative.
What you will be doing:
- Work closely with the client and the Creative Director to serve as the Brand Guardian, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Maintain financial control over accounts, including profitability, forecasting accuracy, and fee negotiation.
- Lead project execution to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of growth targets.
- Drive and be responsible for Clients Briefs.
- Lead from creative concept development to final delivery of Global toolkits 360 Global Campaigns including Drive Markets specific amplifications.
- Ensure that all concepts follow the client’s guidelines for responsible communication.
- Develop new business opportunities and introduce innovative solutions.
- Oversee a cross-functional team, including designers and project managers, to deliver creative productions across the markets.
- Partner with the Creative Director on the overall management of the studio team as well as large scale projects with clients.
- Manage the project list and demand planning for the annual year scope of work in partnership with the Group Account Director and the Creative Director.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Strong leadership with an emphasis on strategic thinking, creative judgment, and business growth.
- Proven track record in commercial growth across new and existing business.
- Ability to manage and develop team members from various backgrounds, fostering a culture of learning and inspiration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and a keen interest in emerging technologies such as AI enhance project deliveries.
- Experience in consumer goods, luxury, or drinks & beverages sectors preferred.
