Role: Social Media Manager
Location: Manila, Philippines
About the role:
OLIVER is a rapidly expanding creative services agency with a twist – we provide our clients with bespoke dedicated agencies that operate from within their offices. We are building a team of individuals who have the ability and confidence to learn on the job and help the client transform their marketing capabilities.
What you will be doing:
Content Development & Digital Implementation
- Content Development and Calendaring: Assist in ideating and writing content for social media assets and plotting calendar.
- Content Finalization & Scheduling: Proofread and schedule all social media posts across platforms using social media management tools.
- Platform Optimization: Ensure all content adheres to platform-specific best practices, including optimal aspect ratios, character counts, and regulatory compliance.
- Trend Agility: Monitor platform trends and algorithm updates daily, suggesting and executing rapid, on-trend content adjustments to capitalize on immediate relevance and organic reach opportunities.
- Report Management: Generate monthly masterbrand and BU led performance reports.
Community Management
- Real-Time Engagement: Actively monitor all social channels for comments and mentions, and ensure prompt, professional, and on-brand responses, managing the daily conversation volume.
- Reputation Management: Identify, triage and escalate negative feedback or potential social media issues to the marketing group.
- Advocacy & Loyalty: Identify, engage with, and nurture brand advocates and loyal community members, encouraging user-generated content (UGC) and promoting a positive brand environment.
- Audience Insights: Gather and consolidate community feedback, trending questions, and sentiment data, providing weekly reports to the marketing and product teams to inform strategy and development.
KOL Management
- Liaise requests from the brand team to partner agencies.
- KOL Assessment: Perform due diligence to vet audience authenticity and suitability of recommended KOLs from the agency partners.
- KOL Implementation Monitoring and Performance Report: Monitor implementation and performance of KOLs from the agency partners.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Experience of working closely with client and be confident presenting to the client
- To be self-motivated, working with little supervision
- Relevant knowledge across social, production, print and digital
- Awareness of emerging trends in design and the digital landscape
- Good time management skills
- Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
- Great team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships
- The drive to actively seek out opportunities for the account
- Confident in your own abilities and be able to proactively influence clients and manage their expectations.
- Strong communication skills and ensure that internal processes are maintained and improved.
- To combine an authoritative voice and consumer education with comprehensive marketing integration.
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
