Job Overview
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role involves administering HR policies, procedures, and programs, with a strong focus on employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and workforce development.
This position reports to the local HRBP, and it is located at Matamoros, Tamaulipas site.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Administration of the temporary contracts of hourly employees.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts for hourly and salary positions.
- Conduct interviews, background checks, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, and Absenteeism (among other HR Metrics).
- HR Vendors Management:
- Support Purchases requisitions creation for HR services' vendors.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge in behavioral interviews processes.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
