- Lead renewal planning and execution, including benchmarking, claims analysis, carrier negotiations, and strategic recommendations.
- Present comprehensive renewal strategies that clearly communicate plan options, financial impacts, and recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with account team members to drive service excellence, manage renewal timelines, and deliver proactive client support.
- Educate clients on compliance requirements, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to help them make informed decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost containment, plan enhancements, and additional solutions that strengthen client outcomes and retention.

What You Bring
Day One:
- 4+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting, account management, sales, or a related client-facing role within the employee benefits insurance industry.
- Active Colorado Life & Health insurance license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Advanced knowledge of employee benefits programs, including self-funded plans, level-funded plans, medical captives, pharmacy solutions, ancillary benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Experience presenting medical, prescription drug, and ancillary benefit analyses, including plan design, pricing strategies, and contract details.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the capability to simplify complex benefits concepts.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, benefit administration platforms, CRM systems, and client management tools.
Valuable Additions:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing team members in an employee benefits agency environment.
- Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) certification or another employee benefits designation.
- Demonstrated success identifying growth opportunities, cross-selling solutions, and expanding client relationships.

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. Roles may also be eligible for a supplemental compensation, such as performance-based bonus, commission, or equity. Specific eligibility will be discussed with Talent Acquisition team.
