What is the Re:Build Manufacturing Battery Plant?
Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to partner with Slate Auto on the development of advanced battery systems for their innovative electric vehicle startup. From the very beginning, Re:Build has been a key collaborator, working alongside Slate through the early design stages to deliver high-performance battery solutions, including both standard and extended-range high-voltage packs. In addition to battery systems, Re:Build engineered four advanced thermoplastic components for Slate—highlighted by a groundbreaking, continuously reinforced fiberglass thermoplastic (CFRTP) truck bed, a first of its kind in the industry.
Our facility is located adjacent to SLATE’s production plant in Warsaw, IN—this is where you’ll be based. Spanning 130,000 square feet, the operation will employ approximately 100 team members and leverage a tightly integrated supply chain and advanced automation to assemble and test multi-format battery packs for SLATE’s groundbreaking electric truck. As a critical operating partner, Re:Build ensures these battery packs feed directly and seamlessly into SLATE’s vehicle production line.
Who we are looking for
Do you bring a track record of hands-on leadership and operational excellence? Do you have experience as an EV Battery Plant Manager building and leading a high-production facility from the ground up?
