The Role  

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to work with our Global Real Estate & Facilities team in for our New York City (“NYC”) headquarter office. The candidate should have deep experience in front office administration and customer service with relation to workplace experience. We are looking for a resourceful problem solver with a proven track record of facilitating daily operations in a fast-paced environment. Office Manager will support key stakeholders within the firm and contribute to the overall success of our team. The Office Manager will lead a team of nine Workplace Experience Associates across the New York City, Summit, Jericho, Stamford, Miami, and San Francisco offices.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Experience in workplace experience, front office administration or hospitality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ownership, and a track record of delivering results
  • The ability to carry out multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong attention to details
  • Experience managing employee desk experience by working with managers on seating assignments, arranging physical desk moves, and monitoring seating/space usage
  • Communicate space usage and future needs to upper management via regular reporting
  • Proactively gather feedback from staff members and guests about their overall experience in the office
  • Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
  • Schedule meetings and manage conference room calendars
  • Communicate with external vendors to ensure day-to-day office activities run smoothly
  • Track inventory expenses and compile reports
  • Liaise with the Human Capital Management Team to ensure new joiners experience a smooth transition to the firm

 

What You’ll Bring
What you need:

  • A bachelor's degree
  • 3-7 years of office management and/or corporate experience
  • Experience in workplace experience, front office administration or hospitality
  • Enthusiastic and welcoming approach to interacting with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, employees, and external contacts
  • Strong ownership, and a track record of delivering results
  • The ability to carry out multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing employee desk experience by working with managers on seating assignments, arranging physical desk moves, and monitoring seating/space usage
  • Familiarity with reporting (expenses, seating, etc.)
  • Proactively gather feedback from staff members and guests about their overall experience in the office
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, FedEx & Shipping services 
  • Demonstrates a high level of discretion and professionalism

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $90,000 and $110,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
