Finance & Pricing Business Analyst

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing analysis of transactional and financial data extracted through a drag and drop analytics tool and conducting variance analysis on both current and historical data.
  • Supporting the Finance Control team with data collection and validation to guarantee accuracy and reasonableness, as well as value added analysis of the monthly financial reporting package.
  • Performing reconciliations between financial figures and extracted data to identify any potential inaccuracies and adjust accordingly.
  • Providing data to internal stakeholders and perform any subsequent analysis required.
  • Reviewing the product offering, keeping track of the company’s revenue and providing recommendations on pricing strategies to increase profitability.
  • Developing and maintaining revenue models to determine the impact of pricing changes on profitability.
  • Comparing trends from previous periods to determine which pricing changes lead to increased profits.
  • Collaborating with other departments to communicate any pricing changes and address any concerns that may be raised.
  • Other ad hoc tasks delegated by the Team Manager.

Candidates must haves:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics or other related quantitative field
  • Ideally possess 3+ years experience working in a related role
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience preferably working with statistical tools and models (such as R or Python) as well as Power BI (or similar)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to work on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be a team player, flexible, and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient at handling numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience within the Financial Services Industry will be preferred
