Senior Management Accountant

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for performing and coordinating general accounting functions and financial reporting of Shift4 and other group companies.
A successful Senior Management Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a solid knowledge of accounting principles to analyze and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should be an experienced hands-on person who is goal-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.


Responsibilities will include:
•    Perform monthly assurance and variance analysis to support the management accounts.
•    Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation and related supporting documentation.
•    Perform payroll checks and related accounting.
•    Evaluate and improve existing financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
•    Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and successful audits, and implement recommendations as necessary.
•    Analyze and report on cost structures, identifying inefficiencies and recommending cost-saving initiatives.
•    Monitor and report on the Company’s cash flow, ensuring that sufficient liquidity is maintained and minimize deviations from projected figures. 
•    Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
•    Provide financial input to support potential business expansion and long-term business planning.
•    Assist with the implementation of new financial systems or upgrades, ensuring alignment with business needs.
•    Undertake special projects as required by management, including complex financial analysis and reporting.


We would love to meet with someone who is ACCA qualified or in possession of a Masters Degree in Accountancy with:
•    A minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience gained in a Big 4 Firm (preferably audit).
•    Conversant with IFRS accounting principles coupled with experience in financial control.
•    Ambition to enhance knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong experience in Excel.
•    Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
•    Able to work diligently and on own initiative with minimal supervision.
•    Ability to learn quickly and a proven track record in problem analysis
