About This Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support program delivery and operational coordination for our Security Insights and Global Vulnerability Management (GVM) teams.

This role will help move our most important data and security initiatives forward. You’ll work with security engineers, data analysts, PMO leaders, and teams across PlayStation to help track progress, remove blockers, and improve how we work together. We’ll look to you to bring people together, ask great questions, and keep things moving with clarity and care.

What You'll Do:

  • Support and guide the delivery of key programs within Risk Insights portfolio involving security data analytics
  • Help teams clarify goals, define milestones, and set realistic timelines
  • Facilitate project planning, lead standups, retros, and other team planning rhythms
  • Coordinate with other program managers across SIE to align delivery plans
  • Track program progress using Jira, Confluence, and reporting dashboards
  • Communicate updates and surface risks early and clearly
  • Solve issues, clear blockers, and guide team execution
  • Support reporting efforts and improve the way we share results
  • Recommend and support continuous improvements in team workflows
  • Demonstrate people and soft skills to generate a positive atmosphere of excitement and collaboration towards delighting customers.
  • Simplify and communicate complex problems through clear communication to inspire changes in behavior.
  • Facilitating large-sized programs and processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You’re someone who enjoys working across multiple teams and finding ways to get things done. You take pride in staying organized and bringing clarity to complex work.
  • An excellent communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing programs across engineering, security, or data teams
  • Comfortable working across distributed teams and multiple priorities
  • Familiar with agile and traditional program management practices
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable managing shifting priorities
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and guide cross-team delivery
  • Use technical background to act as a bridge between engineers and decision makers. Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

You don’t need to have every one of these to apply, but they help:

  • 4+ years of experience working in a technical or security-focused program roles
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Domo
  • Experience with security platforms like Qualys, Wiz, CrowdStrike, or Snyk
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and software development lifecycles
  • Exposure to scripting (e.g., Python) is a plus
  • PMP, CSM, CISSP, or similar certifications
  • Past experience with the Scrum Master role; understanding all of the agile practices and ceremonies.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for building large scale and highly reliable consumer applications.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$175,500 - $263,300 USD
