Creator Platform GTM & Communications Planning Manager

Game creators, publishers, developers and creator-enablers are an integral part of PlayStation’s ecosystem. Our teams within Global Partner Development & Relations department work together to serve our publisher and developer partners that make games, media services, and Esports for the PlayStation platform.

We are passionate about supporting game creators! PlayStation thrives by empowering them with the information and resources they need to unlock the full potential of our platform. As Creator Platform GTM & Communications Planning Manager, you will support the inclusion of our partners in the launch of new platform initiatives, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to implement successful go-to-market programs that improve creator engagement and adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of PlayStation!

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans for partner integrations with new platform features and initiatives.
  • Craft compelling messaging and communication plans, optimised for different and varied target audiences in the creator community.
  • Lead all aspects of the development and distribution of communications materials, including presentations, guidelines and supporting documentation.
  • Establish and monitor performance indicators to assess the success of platform initiatives and go-to-market programs.
  • Monitor and analyze platform usage data as well as creator feedback and sentiment, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the creator platform and key go-to-market initiatives, representing PlayStation at industry events and conferences, where needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in developing and completing successful go-to-market strategies for technology products or platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate sophisticated information effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry, including creator trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies.
  • Proven track record in running and supporting partner platform integrations.
  • Experience running multiple cross-functional programs simultaneously, adapting and balancing needs according to business priority.
  • Motivated, organized self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Pro-active communicator, with strong presentation and high standards of work output.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with games development and publishing partners with a strong awareness of platform business models, industry trends and challenges.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$126,700 - $190,100 USD
