By working closely with higher education institutions, we offer a trusted tool for students to connect with property managers and rental listings, helping to foster a foundation for wellbeing and success. The Role  

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Partnership Development Executive to join our growing Partnerships team. In this role, you will be focused on engaging universities and colleges, promoting our software platform that helps students search for, compare, and secure off-campus housing.  

As part of the Partnerships team, you'll work to expand our presence within the higher education market, bringing value to universities by offering a modern solution to meet the growing demand for off-campus housing resources. 

 

Role Specifics  

  • Work Location: Remote, US 
  • Travel: 25% (The percentage of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.) 
  • Compensation Structure: In addition to the base salary listed below, this role is eligible for a commission plan. 
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the VP Partnerships, College Pads.  

Application Deadline: This role will accept applications on a rolling basis until filled.

 

What You Will Own  

  • Proactively identifying and engaging potential university clients through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling strategies 
  • Researching and building a pipeline of prospective clients by targeting key decision-makers such as IT Directors, Deans, and other administrators in higher education institutions 
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our software products and how they benefit universities, enabling you to effectively communicate value propositions 
  • Conducting virtual or in-person product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of each university 
  • Cultivating long-term relationships with university stakeholders, ensuring that our software solutions meet their evolving needs 
  • Using CRM tools to track outreach efforts, manage sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts 
  • Working closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless handoffs from lead generation to post-sale implementation 
  • Staying up-to-date with trends in higher education technology and competitor offerings to effectively position our software in the market 

 Required Qualifications  

  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience 
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas, generating leads, and closing deals 
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage and persuade senior decision-makers. 
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple sales activities simultaneously 
  • Comfortable discussing complex software solutions and able to learn technical details quickly 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking tools. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Preferably selling software or technology solutions to universities, colleges, or educational institutions. 
  • Understanding of the higher education industry’s unique challenges and priorities. 
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles from lead generation to close.

US - Salary Range

$50,000 - $60,000 USD
