ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
The Marketing Operations Data Associate plays a vital, hands-on role in maintaining the integrity of our marketing data for the WeddingPro Vendor Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for the manual conversion of marketing leads and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of marketing data across various systems. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, focused on tactical execution, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position will work primarily within Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, and will be integral to the success of the Vendor Marketing and Sales teams by ensuring that leads are ready for conversion and that marketing data is accurate and up-to-date for campaign activation. The Marketing Operations Data Associate will report directly to the Marketing Operations Data Lead and collaborate closely with the broader Marketing Operations team as part of the US Vendor Marketing Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute manual lead conversion tasks in Salesforce, ensuring that all marketing leads are efficiently moved into the Sales queue for outreach
- Prioritize and manage daily enrichment and data cleansing activities within Salesforce, ensuring that all marketing data is accurate, up-to-date, and ready for Sales to engage with
- Follow established Service Level Agreements to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated timeframes
- Assess the completeness and accuracy of marketing data, identifying any missing or outdated information that needs to be enriched
- Perform data enrichment by leveraging online sources such as business websites, social media, and directories to fill in missing data points and maintain the integrity of the marketing database over time
- Ensure that all manual processes align with technical requirements and operational systems, ensuring a seamless flow of data across tools
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of marketing data before it is sent to Sales, ensuring the highest quality leads are passed along
- Regularly provide feedback on potential workflow improvements to optimize data management processes, ensuring greater efficiency and completeness
- Maintain close communication with other teams to ensure that data requirements are met and aligned with broader organizational goals
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- A BA/BS degree (preferred), with at least 1-2 years of experience in database management, data cleansing, or other related operations roles
- Previous SaaS experience preferred; understanding of the SaaS business model required
- Experience in Salesforce is preferred
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to ensure completeness and accuracy
- A proactive mindset, capable of providing insightful feedback on how to improve current processes and workflows
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Comfort and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to adjust priorities as needed
