About the role:

We are seeking an accomplished FP&A Manager to join our team and take on responsibility for end-to-end management of the global processes for monthly management accounts, creating insightful departmental reporting, and establishing automated weekly cost reporting. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the FP&A Team and the wider business, refining and developing the processes and reporting that underpin a successful finance business partnering function.  You will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to drive business performance and achieve organisational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders.

As an FP&A Manager you’ll be:

  • Overseeing the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives.
  • Preparing financial commentary on the monthly management accounts, highlighting key drivers and business insights for senior management.
  • Leading the creation of upgraded monthly departmental reports, working with finance business partners/department heads to track performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Developing and maintaining reporting templates and tools to streamline the monthly management accounts and departmental reporting process.
  • Managing weekly cost reporting, providing detailed analysis to help monitor spending against forecast.
  • Collaborating with finance and operational teams to ensure automated accurate cost data capture and reporting.
  • Develop a management reporting suite to give meaningful insight into the P&L and department level financial performance.
  • Identifying opportunities for and developing automation within reporting processes to enhance data quality, reduce processing time, and improve output accuracy.
  • Leading and driving a culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Leading specific adhoc projects.

What we are looking for: 

  • A qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA equivalent, or MBA in Finance) with strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, experienced in management reporting, variance analysis, and delivering financial insights.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel/G-Sheets and advanced expertise with Anaplan, showcasing solid systems capability.
  • A history of driving process improvements and automating financial reporting processes.
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders across the business, taking ownership of work with minimal oversight.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant or transferable experience.
  • Personable, with the ability to build and maintain trusting professional relationships.
