Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Engagement and Delivery Director to join our team. This role focuses on client engagement, delivery oversight, and consultative sales of LLM (Large Language Model) training data services to researchers in LLM companies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of Large language models and AI in general, excellent communication skills, proven project delivery experience, and experience in solutioning and pre-sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Serve as Turing’s primary point of contact for the client post initial sales.
- Regularly meet with client stakeholders to share engagement updates, seek feedback on ongoing delivery, understand immediate and mid-long term goals, and identify collaboration opportunities for Turing.
- Manage client expectations related to engagement progress, risks, and issues impacting cost, quality, and schedule.
- Coordinate with additional internal talent to regularly engage on diverse topics to cross sell and upsell.
Delivery Management:
- Establish and maintain team structures that align with the initial project solutioning.
- Implement processes and governance frameworks to ensure projects meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Support delivery managers in making informed staffing and resource allocation decisions.
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure smooth operations and successful project outcomes.
Consultative selling:
- Utilize a consultative approach to identify and propose solutions that address client needs and drive their research forward.
- Collaborate with R&D and other internal teams to develop scalable, client-specific solutions.
- Continuously bring innovative ideas and insights to clients, leveraging the collective expertise of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engagement management and delivery management, with a focus on data services and AI.
- Strong technical background with a good understanding of LLM models and their applications.
- Proven track record in pre-sales, delivery management, and client management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
