About the IT Team
The IT team is a dynamic, cohesive group dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our internal customers. Our focus includes enabling growth across the company, enhancing operational efficiencies, and maintaining high-security standards. The team supports a wide array of needs, from troubleshooting and process improvement to onboarding and system administration. About This Role
This role is perfect for an experienced and technically skilled IT professional. You are adaptable, calm under pressure, and adept at managing a wide range of responsibilities including technical support, customer support, office moves and expansion and collaboration with systems and networking teams. With a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence, you’ll provide technical support, implement new tools and processes, and contribute to the scalability of the business. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy problem-solving, and are eager to stay updated with the latest tech trends.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, experience in IT administration or customer support, and the ability to excel in a high-growth startup environment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Troubleshooting IT issues and researching effective solutions.
  • Administering and managing access to a variety of SaaS applications.
  • Procuring, managing, and maintaining IT equipment and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborating with business units on cross-functional projects.
  • Ensuring secure and cost-effective SaaS account management.
  • Supporting all east coast teams
  • Analyzing and improving processes and implementing new workflows as needed.
  • Managing office moves and expansions
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency with macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Experience administering G-Suite, Okta, Zoom, Slack etc.
  • Familiarity with AV hardware/software
  • General networking knowledge
  • Flexibility to address urgent issues outside standard working hours.

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$70,000 - $110,000 USD
