International Controllership Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Intern, you will be part of the International Controllership area. As part of the team, you will:

  • Actively participate in accounting closing, mainly analyzing cash and cash equivalent, financial results, and capital stock;
  • Provide assistance and support to the International Controllership team, including during the monthly closing period generating reports; 
  • Assist with SOX compliance in accordance with established internal flows, as well as ad hoc analysis.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The International Controllership team of VTEX is responsible for preparing IFRS accounting and managing local GAAP accounting of all the VTEX entities outside Brazil; local audits in some countries; and improving processes that may impact the VTEX financial statements.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You must be based in Rio or São Paulo;
  • You must be studying Business Administration or Accounting (graduation expected in 2026 or later);
  • You must have Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets;
  • You must be able to communicate in Advanced English (Spanish would be a differential);
  • You must be organized and self-studied;
  • You must have Initiative and Proactivity;
  • You must have attention to detail and a sense of quality;
  • You must be self-motivated to work in an environment with significant autonomy and a flat hierarchy.
