Position Summary
As a Senior IT Administrator in our UK office, you will be key to helping Yes Energy grow in the future. You will play a key role in supporting our employees by ensuring that technology and office facilities function smoothly and effectively.
In this hands-on role, you’ll manage and improve our user-facing global IT services while also managing IT in our UK London office. You will help our 300+ person company be more efficient and scale to even more employees.

Reporting to: U.S. IT Services Manager
Primary Responsibilities
-
Help manage, improve, and secure our user-facing IT infrastructure.

Root out inefficiencies in our IT systems and procedures.

Create policies and documentation for existing and new systems.

Administer and secure our various cloud accounts including AWS, Azure, and Oracle.

Ensure cybersecurity best practices are implemented across IT systems, including identity and access management, endpoint protection, and data security.

Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management in conjunction with security teams to identify and mitigate risks, collaborating with other teams as needed to enhance IT security posture.

Remain aware of the latest developments in technology and cloud systems.

Administer our MDM software to keep our employees’ devices up-to-date and secure, including looking for ways to automate processes.

Administer and enhance our corporate applications, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Okta, Active Directory, and others.

Handle IT provisioning for new hires in the UK and EU.

Handle local aspects of employee off-boarding.

Maintain and improve office technology infrastructure in our London office (e.g., Wi-Fi, conference room setups, TVs, and cabling)

General helpdesk and troubleshooting support.

Required to work occasional off business hours work or on-call shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Minimum of three years of experience in IT helpdesk and administration

Minimum of three years of experience with Windows and MacOS support
-
Minimum of three years of experience with a scripting language such as Python or Powershell
-
Minimum of three years of experience in AWS, OCI, or Azure
-
Experience using IT ticketing software, such as Jira
-
Experience of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability risk assessments, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, CyberEssentials).

Experience with Cisco/Meraki and Palo Alto networking hardware is helpful

Experience with Okta and NinjaOne is helpful

Compensation and Benefits
