The ANZ Financial Planning and Analysis team partners directly with the Zip business to provide crucial insights and analysis. In your new role, you will act as a strategic advisor to the ANZ leadership team, translating financial data into key business insights and partnering on key commercial decisions.

Interesting Problems you will get to solve

  • Be the trusted ANZ Finance Business Partner and key finance contact, owning the end-to-end budget and forecasting process, and consolidating month-end reporting into ANZ management and board packs. Build strong working relationships directly with the Zip business, providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and operational efficiency, and helping the business to mitigate risks and grow.
  • Lead the ANZ revenue and cost centers reporting process on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, including taking up necessary accruals. You will work closely with payroll, local finance teams, and prepare analysis and reviews for higher management.
  • Lead the ANZ FTE reporting process, partnering with local teams to prepare the annual budget and ongoing forecasts and reporting used by higher management.
  • Work with the ANZ procurement team to track supplier costs, prepare the annual budget, and upscale procurement and supplier cost reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain ANZ long-term strategic outlook models, as well as providing ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business strategy as required.
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis and insights for senior management, including the global executive team and the Board as required.
  • Work closely with other Finance teams, including Treasury, Tax, and the Group Financial Planning and Analysis team, providing ANZ financial data for overall group consolidation.
  • Continuously improve processes, reporting, communication, and relationships with key stakeholders and users of financial information. Collaboratively lead projects to achieve these goals.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with a passion for and experience working in FP&A as part of a fast-paced, multi-national organization.
  • A growth mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex business challenges, with comfort in ambiguity and an ever-changing environment.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Experience working with tier 1 ERP & BI systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including asynchronous working with stakeholders from remote/international teams.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a curious mindset that is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Desire to continually improve processes and reporting that is more insightful to both Finance and Business Stakeholders.
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
