Senior Copywriter

About the Role:

We're hiring a Senior Copywriter to lead creative development for our primarily B2B client roster and to directly manage other Copywriters. This role requires extensive experience translating complex SaaS products, technical capabilities, and business value into clear, persuasive messaging for sophisticated decision-makers and buying committees.You should be as comfortable building a concept deck as you are turning a complex product into copy that converts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Lead copy development for B2B SaaS and technology clients across the full buyer journey, including brand positioning, product messaging, demand-generation campaigns, landing pages, email nurture sequences, case studies, thought leadership, sales enablement, and account-based marketing content.
    • Translate complex products, technical capabilities, and industry concepts into clear, differentiated messaging for executive buyers, technical evaluators, and end users.
    • Develop messaging frameworks, value propositions, campaign narratives, and copy platforms grounded in customer pain points, product capabilities, competitive differentiation, and business outcomes.
    • Write for long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Develop proactive concepts and solutions for clients without prescriptive direction, and build concept decks for modular content, long-form content, and integrated campaigns with minimal oversight.
    • Partner with strategists, designers, media teams, account managers, product marketers, and subject-matter experts to turn business objectives into integrated B2B campaigns.
    • Interview clients, customers, product leaders, and subject-matter experts to develop credible, technically accurate content.
    • Use performance data, customer insights, and campaign results to evaluate and improve messaging.
    • Adapt messaging across funnel stages, industries, buyer personas, and levels of technical sophistication.
    • Know when and how to challenge client feedback while maintaining productive relationships and protecting the strategy behind the work.
    • Directly manage Junior Copywriters by assigning and reviewing work, providing regular feedback, setting priorities, and supporting their professional development.
    • Lead brainstorming sessions, mentor junior creatives, support new-hire onboarding, and contribute ideas that improve team processes.
    • Independently manage client workload and work with account managers to establish accurate expectations for projects and deliverables.

Portfolio Requirements

Candidates must submit a portfolio or website demonstrating substantial B2B SaaS or technology work across multiple formats and stages of the buyer journey. Portfolios consisting primarily of consumer, lifestyle, or organic social work will not meet the requirements for this position.

Requirements

4+ years of professional copywriting experience, focused primarily on B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or similarly complex B2B products and services.
