Service Sales Associate – MIH Systems Group

Position Summary
The Service Sales Associate will support the growth of the Service Division at MIH Systems Group. This role is focused on developing new business opportunities, expanding Preventative Maintenance agreements, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, facility managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Pursue and secure Preventative Maintenance agreements with new and existing customers.
  • Generate, present, and close proposals for Preventative Maintenance and aftermarket services.
  • Promote and sell MIH’s service offerings and mechanical solutions to prospective clients.
  • Assess customer needs and provide customized service strategies.
  • Negotiate service agreements, terms, and conditions with professionalism.
  • Prepare and deliver polished sales presentations and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts in the commercial and industrial markets.
  • Identify and implement strategies for sustained business growth.
  • Evaluate HVAC equipment and coordinate with operations to estimate labor and material needs.
  • Track key accounts and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Lead business meetings and site walk-throughs with potential clients.
  • Collaborate closely with service managers, technicians, and controls teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely feedback to management on market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities.
  • Represent MIH at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Mentor and support junior sales staff as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold company standards in all business dealings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation (preferred).
  • Experience engaging with executives, property managers, and senior decision-makers.
  • Proven sales track record with a history of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Dynamics).
  • Strong analytical, technical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional customer service focus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Relevant HVAC certifications or licenses (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel throughout New England as required.
