Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Office of the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO) Special Access Programs Information Technology Support Services. In this role you will provide calendar scheduling and oversight, suspense tracking, workload prioritization, communications, word processing and correspondence management to support the OSD mission.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Draft meeting minutes including discussion points, action items, and major outcomes; provide attendee lists; and support general logistical functions. On behalf of DoD CIO, assist the scorecard team in managing and analyzing data feeds from the Combatant Commands / Services / Agencies (CC/S/As).
- Provide administrative support for FISMA reporting according to Office of Management and Budget Congressional reporting guidance using gathered information.
- Provide administrative support for the drafting and coordination of DoD CIO responses to Presidential and National Security Systems’ Insider Threat initiatives taskings.
- Administrative support for the development of associated Insider Threat papers, reports, and presentations.
- Keep up-to-date DoD CIO Insider Threat program details and ensure ease of integration with Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence) and Assistant Undersecretary of Defense (Homeland Defense and American Security affairs).
- Assist in tracking the DoD Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) Program policy development. Support PPSM leadership with the PPSM Configuration Control Board organization and actions.
- Provide administrative assistance with metric alignment with FISMA data and the development, sustainment, and improvements to DoD Cybersecurity Scorecards including priority risk areas and cyber hygiene.
- Provide administrative support for reviews and analyses of MDAP and MAIS IA strategies, Program Protection Plans (PPP), acquisition strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, System Security Plans (SSPs)
- Support liaison efforts with OUSD (A&S), Component CIO offices, the security engineering
- community, and Department’s CC/S/A for emerging cybersecurity issues.
- Assist in the development/preparation of meeting materials (e.g. schedules, agendas, meeting minutes, and briefing materials).
- Support the facilitation of working group meetings for integrating security engineering, cybersecurity technology, and Defensive Cyber Operations and supply chain risk management into the acquisition process.
- Support the development/refinement and maintenance of DoD policy and guidance concerning cybersecurity risk management, and DoD acquisition.
- Support the development, organization, and facilitation of DoD CIO CS sponsored cybersecurity outreach efforts such as the cybersecurity awareness meeting.
- Assist government personnel with administrative systems, file systems, records management and read ahead binders
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 7+ years related experience providing administrative support for an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/Joint Staff/Interagency environment or similar level.
- Prior experience with DoD correspondence (e.g, email and memos).
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components
- Energetic and the capability to work in a fast-paced team environment, adapt to rapidly changing requirements, and multi-task capabilities
