We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team. You will play a critical role in managing and optimising our financials system, ensuring that the system supports the organisation's financial processes effectively. You will be working closely with finance, IT, and other teams to ensure the system is configured correctly, running efficiently, and providing timely insights. This role requires a good understanding of finance business processes and strong systems analysis background. Your Impact
- Configure and maintain the Workday Finance system to support business needs, including setting up financial business processes, security roles, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to Workday Finance, working with stakeholders to implement solutions.
- Plan and execute testing for Workday releases, new features, and custom configurations to ensure a seamless user experience and data accuracy.
- Assist in managing role assignments for new hires, contractors and service partners
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytical tools in Workday Finance to support financial decision-making and provide insights.
- Create and maintain system documentation and training materials to support end-users.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate Workday Finance with other business systems and processes.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements, ensuring the Workday Finance system supports internal controls and audit processes.
Your Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience working with Workday Financial Management or similar ERP financial systems.
- Hands-on experience with at least two or three Workday modules including Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Procurement, Accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, and financial reporting.
- Experience in configuring and managing Workday Finance modules such as Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, and Reporting.
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools, data analysis, and reporting best practices in Workday.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
Nice to Have
- Workday Financial Management certification.
- Experience with integrations between Workday Finance and other enterprise systems (e.g., procurement, payroll, or other ERP tools).
- Experience in SOX IT General Controls or similar internal controls audits.
- Experience with system upgrades, migrations, or implementations.
