WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
We are searching for an exceptional individual to join our team and support our Marketing strategic planning and analysis efforts. Our team of technology finance professionals - with backgrounds in finance, banking, consulting, and accounting - acts as critical partners to organizations across the business, helping to inform, drive, and support important decisions in all functions. We are deeply involved in analysis in key areas ranging from pipeline forecasting to data center strategy modeling, and everything in between. We need you so that we can continue to drive and support our growth - building on our market leading position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The position offers a steep learning curve, a platform to inform significant decisions, exposure and accountability to Box’s leadership team, and the benefit of driving strategic projects. Provide strategic and financial support to leaders within Box’s Marketing organization

Own end-to-end financial planning and forecasting (monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year) for the Marketing organization and collaborate closely with our corporate finance and accounting teams

Manage Marketing Purchase Order approvals and maintain our Marketing program spend budget planning tool

Act as subject matter expert for all things related to Marketing expenses and headcount

Drive Marketing ROI and ad-hoc analyses to influence investment decisions and business strategy

Build and maintain trusted relationships with business partners and cross functional teams to facilitate connections between functions and ensure alignment

Contribute to a more data-driven planning process by building models and frameworks that connect business unit drivers to company financials and forecast
WHO YOU ARE
-
You have 3+ years of experience with time spent in FP&A, finance and operations, public accounting, investment banking, consulting (technology company experience a plus)

You’re a structured thinker and have a command of “the details,” but don’t get lost in them

You are comfortable contributing to projects end-to-end, from initiation and planning through to closure

You can effectively prioritize multiple work streams and constituents
