Senior Account Executive, Growth Operations

Hybrid work structure, ideally based in New York or Chicago but open to other major cities in Central and Eastern time zones

THE ROLE:

As the Senior Account Executive, Growth Operations, you will play a key role in managing the operational aspects of the business development process and helping to refine best practices for agency growth. You’ll work closely with internal teams and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and support the agency’s growth objectives.

THE WORK:

The Growth team is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our team of growth drivers. This role offers a dynamic range of responsibilities focused on business development initiatives that support both the team and the agency. Key responsibilities include:

Operations Support:

  • Revenue Pipeline Management: Oversee and track the US pipeline, coordinating with practice leads for weekly updates and monthly reviews with global teams.
  • Content Organization: Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date repository of materials, including case studies, capabilities, and past proposals.
  • Financial Support: Assist in tracking budgets and financial metrics for business development activities and proposals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance team efficiency, contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes.

New Business Support:

  • Conflict Navigation & Vetting: Partner with Chief Growth Officer and finance to vet new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and managing any potential client conflicts of interest.
  • Proposal Development: Assist with RFI development, including content creation, editing, proofreading, and coordination to ensure submissions are aligned with client needs and agency strengths.
  • Research & Market Intelligence: Conduct research to inform proposals, strategic planning, and business development decisions.

EXPERIENCE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO SUCCESS:

  • 3-4 years of experience in operations, project management, or business development, ideally within an agency or client services environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, senior leadership, and practice leads.
  • Strong project and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and detail in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to manage quick-turn projects while engaging with senior leaders and maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Interest in business strategy, analytics, and finance with a keen understanding of communications processes and
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, fostering trust and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Proficient in Excel, including managing internal trackers and preparing reports for senior leadership.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $40,000 to $85,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
