The Estate Planning Paralegal position at Resolutions Law Firm is essential in ensuring our clients receive unparalleled personal care and attention throughout their legal journey. Positioned as the right hand to our lead attorney, the role supports the firm's mission by managing end-to-end client interactions and maintaining a seamless estate planning process. This position is key to delivering the peace of mind our clients seek through careful document preparation, client communication, and coordination.

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Client Interaction: Manage inbound calls, provide process overview, and schedule consultations with the attorney.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and dispatch representation agreements, ensure execution, and manage estate planning questionnaires.
  • Intake Management: Conduct intake interviews, handle data entry into WealthCounsel WealthDocs, and draft estate documents.
  • Client Experience: Maintain exceptional client service by consistently providing updates and personal follow-ups.
  • Coordination: Schedule signing appointments and coordinate post-signing tasks like deed recording.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.


What we’re looking for: 

  • Experience: 3-5 years as an estate planning paralegal with autonomous operational capability.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in WealthCounsel WealthDocs, Clio practice management, and Microsoft Word.
  • Communication: Strong client communication abilities, with a proactive and self-starting attitude.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and strong time management to avoid procrastination.
  • Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive work environment.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of estate planning, including revocable vs. irrevocable trusts.

Additional perks:

  • Competitive Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience, with potential for increase after 30 days.
  • Paid Time Off: 10 days per year, plus paid holidays including major bank holidays.
  • Flexible Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexible lunch breaks.
  • No Health Insurance or Retirement: These benefits are currently not provided, but a 401(k) is under consideration.
