We are seeking a strategic and hands-on People Partner Manager to lead a team of People Partners. This role will focus on executing people strategies and operational excellence, ensuring the People Partner team is deeply embedded in day to day HR operations and employee support. As a manager, you will focus on enhancing HR operations, and driving key initiatives that support business objectives. As a trusted advisor to leadership, you will play a critical role in fostering a high-performance culture, managing employee relations, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive decision-making.

Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of People Partners, ensuring alignment with business needs and HR best practices.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, performance management cases, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the business and HR leadership, ensuring People Partners are equipped to support their respective client groups effectively.

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Oversee and support the bi-annual performance review process, coaching managers on delivering feedback and maintaining high-performance standards.
  • Partner with leadership to develop actionable talent strategies that support employee growth and succession planning.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, partnering with leadership to resolve challenges while ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.

Data-Driven Insights 

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, drive insights, and recommend strategic People initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of People processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency within the People Partner function.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

People Partner Support for G&A Functions

  • Serve as the primary People Partner for G&A functions, partnering with leaders in Finance, Legal, IT, and other corporate teams to align People strategies with business needs.
  • Manage performance-related matters, including coaching and terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Provide guidance on talent development and organizational effectiveness within G&A teams.

What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

  • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Skills: You’re a problem-solver with strong knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance, and you thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments.
  • Tech-Savvy: Bonus points if you’re fluent in [specific tools or software].
  • Mindset: You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter.

Cash compensation: The base salary for this role is starting at range of $160k-$175k with upside potential based on performance. Final compensation packages are determined by various factors, including prior experience and expertise.
