Senior Product Designer

UK - HQ - London

About Euc

We’re making good health last a lifetime

More than 1 billion people globally live with obesity, a significant leading indicator of many preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.

Eucalyptus is the company behind Juniper, one of the world’s largest weight management programs combining GLP-1 medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, supported by our multidisciplinary care team of prescribers, health coaches, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists.

Our published clinical research demonstrates that our combined approach to weight management and lifestyle change increases the likelihood of our patients losing significant weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.

Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients. In the last 12 months:

  • We grew the size of our patient base by 10x in the UK, received selective NICE endorsement for our holistic approach to obesity management, and grew our team from 50 to 200.
  • Globally, we grew revenue by >120% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY, with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree - early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe, Uber and Airbnb.

What’s next?

In 2025, we are charting the path to support hundreds of thousands of patients while launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we move towards our vision of creating a preventive healthcare ecosystem.

We’re building the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. This will be highly challenging, very rewarding and the adventure of a lifetime, working with the best operators you will ever encounter.

If that gets you excited, let’s talk!

About the role (What You’ll Be Doing)

We're building the future of preventative healthcare and we’re on the lookout for a visionary Senior Product Designer to help lead this transformation.

You will be joining at an pivotal inflection point for Eucalyptus as we expand beyond our successful GLP-1 platform to create a comprehensive preventative health ecosystem for women's health. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can translate complex healthcare challenges into elegant solutions, and wants to be part of a team that's genuinely changing how people think about preventative healthcare.

What makes this role special:

  • 0-1 product creation: You'll design entirely new product categories from the ground up, not just optimise existing flows.
  • Unprecedented creative freedom: Shape product direction alongside our Lead Product Manager and engineering team, with real ownership over design decisions that bring bold ideas to life.
  • Meaningful scale: Your work will directly impact the health and wellbeing of tens of thousands of patients seeking preventative and personalised healthcare solutions.
  • Cross-functional innovation: Design experiences that seamlessly integrate elements such as diagnostics, wearables, and commerce into cohesive patient journeys.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, visionary designer that loves turning ambiguous problems into intuitive, impactful solutions. Beyond the product work, as one of our first UK design hires, you'll be establishing the design DNA for our expanding team as we grow our UK presence.

This is your chance to design the healthcare experience you wish existed – and see millions of people benefit from it.

In this role, you will…

  • Deeply understand our patients, uncovering their needs and behaviours, and identifying opportunities to support them with their health.
  • Apply first-principles thinking to cut through complexity and focus on framing meaningful problems
  • Design solutions from scratch, launching new product experiences for the first time
  • Own the full lifecycle from early concepts and prototypes to shipped MVP’s, continuously testing and iterating on these to scale.
  • Have a bias for shipping fast and learning quickly, balancing polish with pace, and using data and feedback to improve your work over time.
  • Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, clinicians, and others to co-create effective and elegant health experiences for our patients.
  • Develop our UK design team principles, setting the standards, building the culture, and mentoring future designers.

About you (Who We Are Looking For)

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. You have a knack for untangling complexity, turning uncertainty into clarity, and insight into smart solutions.
  • You bring a strong foundation in user research, using a range of methodologies to get to the heart of real user needs and behaviours.
  • You balance deep user empathy with commercial awareness, ensuring our products not only serve patients meaningfully but also support business and commercial objectives.
  • You bring strong visual design sensibility, and take pride in building polished, intuitive, and beautiful user experiences that feel cohesive within our brand.
  • You communicate your thinking clearly and confidently, whether that’s explaining design tradeoffs to engineers or bringing stakeholders along on a journey.
  • You’re a natural collaborator, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring ideas to life and iterate quickly.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years product design experience: You have dedicated product design experience in fast-paced, product-led environments.
  • 0-1 launch experience: You’ve built products from scratch, taking these from inception to launch and scale.
  • Experience across the full lifecycle: You've conducted deep user research, owned end-to-end design workflows, created comprehensive design systems, shipped multiple impactful digital experiences, and tracked and evaluated your solutions.
  • User research expertise: You've planned and conducted user interviews, moderated testing sessions, facilitated workshops, and created various fidelity prototypes to test assumptions and refine solutions.
  • Evidence-Based Approach: You validate your design decisions using competitive analysis, user research, and product data. You make compelling cases for your design choices based on both qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Outcome-Driven Design: You design with clear business and patient outcomes in mind. You've created solutions that demonstrably improved engagement, conversion, or other metrics that matter.
  • Independent Design Leadership: You confidently drive the design process from discovery to delivery, balancing user needs with business objectives. You know when to seek input and when to make autonomous decisions.
  • You care: You have a deep interest in digital health, especially in women’s health and preventative care

You deeply understand and advocate for user needs. You can translate complex health journeys into intuitive, accessible, and emotionally resonant experiences.
  • Design Craft Excellence: You have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in your execution. You balance aesthetic quality with usability principles and maintain consistent standards across all touch points.
  • Systems Thinking: You design holistic solutions rather than isolated features. You recognize patterns, create scalable components, and consider how your work fits within the broader product ecosystem.
  • Collaborative Creation: You thrive in cross-functional environments, effectively communicating design decisions and incorporating feedback from product, engineering, and clinical teams without compromising your design vision.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in B2C: You’ve worked on consumer technology products with a strong engagement focus
  • Healthcare experience: You have experience designing healthcare or wellness products
