Enterprise Initiatives and Governance - Assistant Vice President / Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Assistant Vice President or Vice President to help shape and run the firm’s enterprise initiatives and corporate governance agenda, serving as a Chief of Staff-style partner to senior leadership and supporting the Management Committee and Operating Committee. This role is central to strengthening the firm’s executive operating cadence, improving decision quality and velocity, clarifying enterprise priorities, and driving accountable follow-through. Operating at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, the role partners closely with senior executives to translate strategic objectives into outcomes, elevate the issues that matter most, and ensure cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end operating rhythm for the Management Committee and Operating Committee shaping agendas and pre-reads, driving decision capture, and ensuring disciplined follow-through on priorities and commitments.
  • Strengthen governance for the Pricing and New Activities Committee by setting the review cadence, improving decision frameworks, and translating outcomes into clear actions and accountability.
  • Produce executive-ready analyses and insights that inform enterprise-level decisions, resource allocation, and operational performance.
  • Lead executive communications and information flow (executive reading, dashboards, calendars, weekly agendas, CEO updates, and special projects) to ensure leaders have the right inputs at the right time.
  • Design and facilitate leadership forums and committee meetings to drive alignment, surface risks and tradeoffs, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Conduct deep dives on business performance, KPIs, and operating metrics identifying trends, diagnosing root causes, and elevating opportunities to improve growth and efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives and process improvements, proactively removing roadblocks and ensuring delivery against enterprise goals.

Qualifications

  • 6–12 years of experience in strategy, operations, chief of staff, finance, consulting, or related roles within financial services, fintech, or technology-enabled organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional work from problem definition through execution, balancing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced PowerPoint proficiency, with a track record of creating crisp, executive-level narratives, dashboards, and decision materials
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort influencing senior leaders, facilitating alignment, and elevating critical topics for executive focus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with comfort synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs into actionable recommendations
  • Experience running senior-level forums, driving accountability, and improving decision quality through effective governance and operating cadence
  • High degree of ownership, sound judgment, and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving, executive-facing environments

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $180,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
