International Regulatory Reporting - Vice President

About the Role

As our international regulatory footprint continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated VP, International Regulatory Reporting to lead regulatory reporting activities across our international regulated entities.

Role Overview

This is a newly created role within our Corporate Finance organization, reflecting the rapid growth of our regulated entity footprint across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.

The VP, International Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for the ownership, coordination, and execution of regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions. The role will partner closely with Finance, Compliance, Legal, external advisors, auditors, and local management teams to ensure all regulatory submissions are accurate, timely, and supported by a strong control environment.

This position offers a unique opportunity to build and enhance a scalable regulatory reporting framework that will support iCapital's continued international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Reporting

  • Own the regulatory reporting process across multiple international regulated entities.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate the submission of regulatory returns and filings.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation of changes.
  • Act as the primary Finance contact for regulatory reporting matters.

 

 

Controls & Governance

  • Strengthen and maintain robust controls supporting regulatory reporting submissions.
  • Develop and enhance documentation, governance processes, and reporting procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate evidence retention and audit support processes are maintained.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.

Financial Data & Reconciliations

  • Oversee reconciliations and supporting financial analysis underpinning regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying data.
  • Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies and control issues.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with Compliance, Finance, Legal, and local business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and regulators where required.
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, and information requests.

Strategic Development

  • Build a scalable regulatory reporting framework capable of supporting future international growth.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
  • Reduce key-person dependency by establishing strong processes and controls.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial control, external reporting, audit, or related finance functions within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory reporting environments applicable to regulated financial institutions.
  • Experience working with multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex reporting processes and strict deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with regulators, external auditors, and compliance teams.
  • Experience in fintech, wealth management, asset management, broker-dealers, or other regulated financial services businesses.
  • Experience supporting international regulated entities.
