ABOUT THIS ROLE
ServiceNow is a critical central component to the customer journey of LiveView Technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Administrator/Developer. You will work across business functions to analyze business processes, implement components, develop solutions, and maintain the platform. You will be a member of a cross-functional team delivering business value through work automation and scale.
You Will Help LVT Win by:
- Implementing work automation components to scale business processes thus reducing the need for additional headcount.
- Ensuring LVT employees and Service Delivery partners know where to find their assigned work by priority.
- Enhancing the visibility of work-in-progress, work-completed, and work-scheduled by project, LiveUnit, and customer accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep up with releases to ServiceNow products and services and ensure LVT is getting the most out of the licensed products
- Ensure the ServiceNow platform is performing optimally
- Ensure components remain as close to OOTB as possible with little customization to prevent upgrade challenges
- Meet and coordinate with the ServiceNow team (including contractors) all work and maintenance across production and non-production instances
- Understand how ServiceNow can enable team members across all functions to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits.
- Drive process optimization, efficiencies, and productivity using automation
- Thoroughly understand business requirements and implement requirements while working with standard design principles and best practices.
- Perform installation and testing of updates and new releases
- Assist in troubleshooting patch/release management issues
- Build reports, dashboards, and workspaces
- Develop system integrations
- Work closely with business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with best practices
- Develop administrative documentation, release notes, manuals, policies, process diagrams, training materials, etc to foster adoption. Participate in training sessions as necessary.
- Coordinate all changes to the platform with CAB and release management
- When required write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following the LVT-adopted SDLC for ServiceNow
- Run test cases and UAT for all configurations and modifications.
- Act as a mentor to support and train less experienced colleagues
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow components. Preferably the following modules: ITSM, FSM, CSM, PPM, ITAM, ITOM.
- Demonstrated experience building, modifying and maintaining workflows across the aforementioned processes
- Experience building portals, workspaces, email templates and other user and customer exposed elements using company design UI/UX standards, color pallets, etc
- ServiceNow Certifications including Administration and higher
- Demonstrated experience with Incident management, problem management, Change Management, Requests Fulfillment, Work order/Work order Tasks, Customer case, etc
- Experience with CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset management, stock rooms, etc.
- ITIL V3 certification
- Experience with AngularJS, Javascript, XML, HTML, AJAX, JSON, CSS, Rest, SOAP, etc.
