Senior Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to support the Global Supplier Industrialization & Quality organization. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop actionable insights, and support strategic initiatives.
You Will:
- Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with various departments to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and modeling to support business forecasting and scenario planning.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management and governance.
- Mentor and train junior analysts, promoting a culture of data literacy within the organization.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization tools.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, visualization, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Ability to deep-dive data from both a top-down and bottom-up approach
- Ability to think strategically and communicate strategies effectively.
- Experience in the Automotive Industry (OEM or Tier 1 Suppliers).
- Experience working in a dynamic/start-up environment is a plus.
- Flexibility in work schedule is required (to include evenings and weekends, as needed)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Smartsheet, SAP, JIRA, Tableau, and any costing software is a plus.
