Director, Talent Acquisition
Overview:
As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead and shape our talent acquisition strategy, aligning recruitment efforts with the mission and vision of our electric vehicle company. This role involves strategic planning, building key relationships across the organization, and developing a high-performing talent team dedicated to attracting top talent in a fast-growing, innovative industry. You will champion diversity and inclusivity, enhance our employment brand, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Planning: Lead North America's talent acquisition efforts by partnering with executive leadership to identify immediate and future talent needs, create proactive recruitment strategies, and support workforce planning aligned with business objectives.
- Team Development & Leadership: Build and lead a high-impact talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Mentor team members, promoting professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaboration & Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, HR, and key stakeholders, providing insights into market trends, workforce planning, and hiring challenges to ensure cohesive and data-driven talent acquisition strategies.
- Compensation & Talent Insights: Advise senior leaders and HR business partners on competitive compensation practices, including job evaluations, salary structures, and incentive design, to align hiring practices with market standards.
- Data-Driven Recruiting: Establish and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of recruiting efforts, focusing on talent quality, process efficiency, and candidate experience. Use insights to optimize and refine the talent acquisition process continually.
- Employment Brand & Candidate Experience: Lead the employment branding strategy to create a positive, engaging candidate experience that authentically reflects our company’s values and culture.
- Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives: Partner with DEI leaders to develop and implement inclusive hiring practices and strategies that attract and retain diverse talent, contributing to a welcoming, inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM) are a plus.
- Talent Acquisition Leadership: Extensive experience in talent acquisition with proven success in aligning recruitment strategies with business goals and achieving hiring objectives in high-growth settings.
- Team-Building Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire recruitment teams to reach high performance levels and achieve ambitious goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders across diverse locations.
- Data & Metrics-Oriented: Experience with data-driven recruitment practices and a track record of using metrics to inform and improve recruitment strategies.
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$193,000 - $284,000 USD
