Role: Senior Account Manager (Account Director level)

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)
Contract: 12-month FTC with potential to extend


About the Role

Are you passionate about social media, digital innovation, and client partnerships? Join us as part of our in-house creative agency, where we deliver cutting-edge social and digital campaigns across paid and owned channels, influencer activations, and creator content.

As part of this established integrated agency team, you'll collaborate with clients and work with the team driving compelling social strategies that blend human creativity with AI-powered insights. This role will report into the Social & Influence Director. 


What You’ll Do

  • Understand social and influencer ways of working (for Always On organic content and campaigns) 
  • Build strong, lasting partnerships with clients, maintaining a positive relationship and ensuring we are always adding value 
  • Main point of contact with internal teams and clients for all projects (alongside Social Leads / Social Media Managers) 
  • Create timelines for all projects and ensure work is delivered on time and on budget 
  • Support teams in managing the flow of projects through their various stages 
  • Help the team to deliver creative work to a high standard by championing brand identity compliance  
  • Set up and lead internal and client meetings with note taking for recaps  
  • Demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day planned and unplanned deliverables 
  • Ensure key Service Level Agreements are met by all parties involved 
  • Ensure clients have a positive experience through each project, flagging early when risk/issues arise, to ensure a speedy reaction to all risk/issues.  
  • Building relationships with day-to-day team (Social Media Managers, in-house Content Creators, Data Analyst, Leadership Team) 
  • Financial management 
  • Integrate technologies and manage resources for maximum efficiencies (inclusive of AI) 

What You’ll Bring

  • Client service and stakeholder management experience, ideally within a social or digital agency.
  • Proven ability to manage client-facing projects, from briefing to delivery.
  • Deep understanding of agency life and social media marketing mechanics.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Tech-savvy and eager to embrace AI-driven solutions.
  • A proven track record of growing and developing accounts.
  • Marketing degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential).
