Role: Social & Digital Account Director
Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)
Contract: 12-month FTC with potential to extend
About the Role
Are you passionate about social media, digital innovation, and client partnerships? Join us as part of our in-house creative agency, where we deliver cutting-edge social and digital campaigns across paid and owned channels, influencer activations, and creator content.
This is not just another account director role- you’ll be at the forefront of AI-powered creativity, pioneering the use of GenAI at scale to drive groundbreaking marketing innovation and performance.
As part of a newly established integrated agency team, you’ll collaborate with clients and lead strategies that blend human creativity with technology-driven insights. You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of social and digital marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong, lasting client partnerships, ensuring we consistently add value and deliver excellence.
- Lead face-to-face client meetings, including monthly and quarterly marketing reviews.
- Educate clients on social and digital best practices, highlighting where AI can enhance creative output.
- Champion brand identity compliance and creative excellence across all deliverables.
- Support project and social teams in managing workflows and ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Directors and Managers to provide strategic insight and cost-effective solutions.
- Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain a positive client experience.
- Foster strong relationships across internal teams - creative, studio, finance, HR/training.
- Oversee financial management for accounts.
What You’ll Bring
- Client service and stakeholder management experience, ideally within a social or digital agency.
- Proven ability to manage client-facing projects, from briefing to delivery.
- Deep understanding of agency life and social media marketing mechanics.
- Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Tech-savvy and eager to embrace AI-driven solutions.
- A proven track record of growing and developing accounts.
- Marketing degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential).
