- Serve as a primary point of contact for individual and small group clients, providing timely and professional support through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Manage account administration activities including applications, enrollments, policy updates, renewals, and ongoing client service needs.
- Prepare and submit carrier documentation accurately and on time to support compliance and seamless coverage administration.
- Generate quotes, renewal comparisons, invoices, payroll reports, and other benefit-related materials that support client decision-making.
- Guide clients through available health insurance options, including under-65 plans, Medicare solutions, and Marketplace coverage when applicable.
- Monitor renewal timelines, carrier requirements, and key deadlines to ensure continuous coverage and proactive client communication.
- Partner with carriers, agents, and internal team members to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a high-quality customer experience.

What You Bring
Day One:
- One to three years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, Medicare, Marketplace plans, or a related insurance role.
- Strong understanding of health insurance products, employee benefit programs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related business software.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients, carriers, agents, and internal team members.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Valuable Additions:
- Medicare insurance experience.
- Health Insurance Marketplace experience.
- Active South Dakota Life & Health License.
- Ability to obtain South Dakota Life & Health licensure shortly after hire if not currently licensed.
- Experience supporting small group health insurance accounts and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with carrier enrollment systems, compliance reporting, and Medicare Part D administration.
