Who You’ll Be Working With

As a Digital Marketing Campaign Analyst, you’ll leverage powerful BI tools like Tableau and Looker Studio to uncover insights that shape strategies and drive transformation. Your work will go beyond numbers and dashboards—you’ll help brands connect with their audiences while contributing to PMG’s reputation as a place where creative and analytical minds come together to achieve remarkable results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Translate client requests into actionable dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI (we primarily use Tableau and Looker).
- Apply data management best practices, including data cleansing, standardization, and preparation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with client strategy teams to deliver comprehensive reporting, tracking, and forecasting that inform program performance and future strategies across channels.
- Dive deep into the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for growth and fine-tuning channel performance to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and oversee channel forecasts, ensuring teams have clear insights for planning and optimization.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions that foster satisfaction and trust.
- Actively listen to client feedback and collaborate cross-functionally to address evolving needs.
- Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
- Partner with internal media leaders to conduct analysis, collect datasets, and visualize data to answer key media-related questions.
- Document projects, transformations, and data models, ensuring all stakeholders have access to clear and comprehensive information.
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years automating reports in Excel/Google Sheets to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy.
- 2+ years working with data warehouse tools like Redshift and BigQuery, with the ability to work interchangeably between the two.
- 2+ years in a marketing data analyst role, either within an agency or in-house retail environment.
- 2+ years pulling data for reporting purposes using Tableau or Looker Studio.
- Proficiency in SQL for cleaning, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets, with experience navigating multiple database syntaxes (e.g., Redshift SQL, BigQuery SQL).
- Basic understanding of media mix modeling and its role in shaping marketing and paid media strategies.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts to support efficient data management.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Studio to create clear and actionable insights.
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis and statistical modeling is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and engaging way.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Interest or familiarity with the digital marketing industry and its unique analytical challenges.
- Certifications in data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau Certification, Google Data Analytics).
- Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and their application in marketing analytics.
