Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic startup team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing and integrating architecture and integration for both commercial and internal systems, ensuring seamless alignment and operational efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the technological framework of a greenfield project from the ground up.
What you get to do:
- Architecture Development: Design and implement an enterprise architecture strategy that supports business goals and objectives, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
- Secure by Design Focus: Lead the Architecture Review Board efforts in tandem with Slate’s Security Lead focused on solid system architecture protected by Industry Standard Security.
- Document, Design and Oversee System Integration between Commercial Systems, ERP, PLM/QMS, HCM, Identity Management, and MES systems to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Ability to work across internally developed systems and off-the-shelf large system packages typical of a manufacturer.
- Data Architecture: Develop and maintain a robust high level data architecture identifying source of truth data flow that ensures data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across all systems. Works hand and hand with the company’s data architect to create a BI data repository.
- Technology Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to across teams, fostering innovation and best practices in enterprise architecture.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Project Management: Lead architecture-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of solutions within defined timelines and budgets
What you bring to the team:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with experience in successfully driving consistent architecture and integration across complex systems. Experience leading an Architecture Review Board.
- Industry Expertise: Experience in manufacturing and familiarity with its specific challenges and requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in off-the-shelf ERP, PLM, QMS, HCM and MES systems. Experience with internal development concepts, data architecture, and BI tools.
- Integration Skills: Strong knowledge of system integration methodologies and best practices.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex technical issues.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Shown leadership abilities with experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Project Management: Extensive project management skills, including the ability to plan, implement, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Innovative Mentality: A forward-thinking approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enterprise Architecture Certifications: Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect).
- Security Certifications and experience: CISSP or other advanced training. NIST, ISO 2700x Standards.
- Project Management Certifications: PMP or other advanced training.
- IT Systems Process: ITIL process certification or experience.

Base salary - US wide $119,012 - $212,683
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Re:Car reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices. In addition to base pay, Re:Car also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs – 401k match, annual bonus and company equity, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans, HSA/FSA.
