Channel Experience Manager 

Bentonville, AR/Remote

Responsible for all Trade Marketing expertise and activity in the territory. Collaborating with Commercial Managers to negotiate and align strategies with retailers by managing the planning, implementation and maximization of the value of retailers’ trade marketing activities, paid media and our Marketing assets to increase revenue, awareness, engagement and ROI.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with Commercial Managers to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Develop and propose go to market strategies across a variety of retailers and owned marketing vehicles. Including but not limited to omni-channel activations such as retailer owned placements, media buying, display and search media, print and owned channel, temporary displays etc.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial managers to prepare and deliver presentations to retailers on products and strategies
  • Negotiate and execute Trade Marketing vehicles at multiple retailers. Provide insights and reporting on various activations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to deliver trade marketing activations (POS, Production agencies etc)
  • Project manage implementation of activations (e.g.  Content, digital screens, product demonstrations, fixturing, temporary displays, ecommerce)
  • Make and implement recommendations to Commercial Managers on how to improve the consumer journey (omnichannel - in-store and online) to increase revenue, awareness and engagement.
  • Oversee budgets for Trade Marketing Business Operations costs. and Co-Op Investment (incentives, using retailer media & space, experiential, retailer events, staff competitions, training etc)
  • Manage relationships with internal departments and negotiate with third parties relating to trade marketing activations.
  • Represent local market(s), provide feedback, present reporting, best practices and provide updates on local plans at regional level
  • Liaise with retailer Marketing teams (and our local marketing team) to share visibility on marketing plans

  • Customer journey expertise (omnichannel inc. online & in-store)
  • Trade Marketing expertise with big box retailers.
  • Project, stakeholder and budget management
  • Communication & Collaboration
  • Time & priority management
  • Understanding of other Marketing channels (inc. Social media, On-line advertising etc)

Roles they will work with:

  • Collaborating to Commercial managers, Commercial planning manager, Commercial Cat Managers
  • Liaise with suppliers (inc. field merchandising), retailers, third party publishers
  • Liaise with Finance, Operations, Business Analysts
  • Collaborate with Marketing (Marketing Analytics manager, Media, Campaign management etc.)
  • Collaborate with others within Global Marketing team

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$124,300 - $186,500 USD
