  • The Search Lead will collaborate closely with the Sr. Search Lead to run the Search Center of Excellence (COE) for the entire PlayStation portfolio.
  • The Search COE prioritizes using search marketing to boost engagement, drive purchases, and improve discovery for both current and potential PlayStation customers. This is achieved through collaboration with an external media agency, offering guidance on global strategies, guaranteeing efficient local implementation, and improving subject matter expertise across global teams.
  • Seeking an experienced Search professional with strong analysis skills and business insight for our search team.
  • Seeking candidate with search engine marketing expertise and activation experience for collaboration with brand teams, territories, and agencies.
  • Note: The responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive, and additional tasks may be assigned.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the day-to-day management of the paid media agency relationship
  • Collaborate with different internal teams to complete paid search tasks on schedule, including gathering campaign details, localizations, and assets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and maintain search reporting.
  • Supervise and analyze performance regularly, making recommendations to meet goals and meaningful metrics.
  • Provide ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date on search marketing trends, standard methodologies, and technologies.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience in Paid Search
  • Sophisticated level of understanding of search & biddable principles and applications
  • Strong collaboration skills (e.g., presenting, coordinating, building consensus, influencing without authority, listening, being open to other opinions).
  • Deep understanding of automated search bidding strategies including tCPA & tROAS required.
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities to turn trends into actionable insights and hypotheses.
  • Experience with bid management, analytics & competitive insights tools available in the market including Search Ads 360
  • An understanding of the global landscape
  • A proven track record of driving performance in house or in an agency role
  • A strong understanding of SEO principles
  • A strong understanding of Retail Search and Social Search
  • Experience working across multiple product lines or business units for a brand
  • Oversight and awareness of the agency’s tasks & results
  • Keep Senior Search Lead informed of key business growth opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business.

Candidate Preferred Qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience handling changing processes, objectives and results across multiple teams
  • Experience working within EMEA, LATAM, ASIA or any other non US/CA territories
  • Experience working with or for an entertainment or gaming brand
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function teams positively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Self-starter with sense of humor, passion, energy, enthusiasm to get results and affect significant change!
  • Strong interest in video games and entertainment
  • Displayed AI literacy by incorporating emerging tools to improve media efficiency and guide smarter, data-driven decisions
