Role overview:

Our team operates within the ‘Services Commercial’ group who are dedicated to driving growth and engagement of PlayStation’s subscription services. This wider group strives to maximise new subscriber acquisition, improve subscriber retention, and provide a compelling reason for people to return to the service year after year. Our core product, PlayStation Plus, is critically important to PlayStation’s vision and strategy.

This role reports into the Subscription Optimisation team who are responsible for delivery, execution, Go-to-Market organisation and optimisation of processes, campaigns and initiatives across the ‘Services Commercial’ group.

The successful candidate will support the operational delivery of plans to drive growth from the PlayStation Plus subscriber base - driving new acquisitions, upgrades of subscribers, engagement, and mitigating downgrades. You will be required to work with Services Trading and Insights teams to roll out activity with collaboration across a wide range of global teams outside of Services including Operations, Marketing, Product, CEM and many more.

The candidate will also be responsible for optimising operational processes, improving campaign impact, finding efficiencies in timelines and delivery, and driving collaboration across PlayStation. They will work creatively to ensure the business can move swiftly to take advantage of commercial opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating the delivery of customer-facing activity and offers
  • Spearheading campaign launches focused on enhancing customer conversion and engagement, with iterative refinements based on data insights.
  • Employ project management techniques: briefing, organising and managing the delivery of tactical and strategic projects – for both mass-market and targeted audiences
  • Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders and proactively resolve issues to ensure seamless campaign execution and cohesive customer experiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance through metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously assess and optimise always-on campaigns, ensuring they effectively support the subscriber lifecycle and GTM strategies.
  • Develop and implement targeted audience segmentation strategies to tailor campaigns for specific customer attributes, enhancing relevancy and impact.
  • Strategically allocate and manage resources to ensure timely execution of GTM campaigns across various stages and touch points.
  • Host quarterly campaign planning sessions to secure the correct resource allocation from supporting teams to deliver those initiatives
  • Drive collaboration across functional teams including marketing, insights, operations, product and customer service to ensure seamless integration and execution of GTM initiatives.
  • Actively engage with partners acrorganisationnization to align GTM strategies with broader business goals and customer expectations.
  • Continuously monitoring and optimising campaign performance
  • Effectively prioritise activity to optimise resources across the department

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years (or equivalent) proven experience working in a subscription-based analytical or commercial role
  • Excellent project management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communicator and collaborator to rally teams together behind initiatives
  • Strong organisational skills, structured problem solver with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests at the same time
  • Drive to improve on existing processes and not accept ‘good enough’ or ‘the norm’
  • A tenacity to understand your product, not just how customers use it, but how the technology works behind the scenes
  • Solution focused and problem-solving attitude
  • Bonus: An understanding of Gaming or Subscriptions customers and their needs
  • Bonus: Some experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Tableau
