Content Optimisation Manager

San Mateo, CA (collab/hybrid) 

 

Role overview:

The Content Optimisation team helps drive value by delivering curated, relevant, and optimised Storefronts for the players. As a Content Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day merchandising of a variety of Store priorities, with a focus on live services, whilst also overseeing strategic projects designed to further enhance the customer experience and deliver on key Store performance metrics. The role requires close collaboration with a range of global stakeholders, with a focus on advancing Store performance through campaign merchandising, data-driven experimentation and on-going optimisations.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and optimising Store priorities and promotions shared by the Digital Game Monetisation and Planning & Proposition Teams, creating engaging experiences and content across consoles, web and app.

  • Leading on the merchandising of live services and subscription campaigns, managing the strategy across all Store placements and platforms.

  • Developing experiments for areas of ownership to drive positive impact to our customer and the business, leading from ideation to sharing results and implementing changes in strategy.

  • Reviewing performance data on a daily, weekly and monthly cadence and using it inform decisions, turning it into action to effectively optimise and trade the Store.

  • Developing and adhering to best practices and processes with wider Store teams, identifying and implementing efficiencies, striving for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with Product teams to help shape and develop the technology roadmap to aid content optimisation and overall merchandising functionality.

  • *Establish yourself as a key point of contact for the Content Optimisation Team in the US.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a global direct-to-consumer digital or e-commerce business, with knowledge of games monetization and live services.

  • Experience developing hypotheses and running A/B and multi-variant testing, using results to drive improvements.

  • Ability to use Adobe Analytics, DOMO or similar data tools with experience analysing customer data to identify trends, preferences and opportunities.

  • Customer first mindset, prioritising customer needs, experience and personalisation.

  • Process-driven with good attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem resolution.

  • Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, with a curiosity to explore how they can be applied to solve challenges and enhance business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different global functions and teams.

  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (or relative qualification standard).

  • A passion for the games industry and gaming is desired.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$147,400 - $221,200 USD
