Are you passionate about delivering outstanding product quality? We’re searching for a Senior Software QA Engineer (Contract) to join our System Integration Testing team, where you’ll test innovative features across diverse apps and platforms—ensuring everything works flawlessly together.

What You’ll Do

We work closely with teams across engineering, product, and architecture, and you’ll play a key role in connecting those pieces. Your work will focus on understanding how systems interact, crafting smart test strategies, and reporting issues that surface across platforms.

You will:

  • Review product requirements, technical specs, and architecture diagrams to understand system behavior and identify integration points.
  • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases with a strong focus on manual testing for complex, cross-system scenarios.
  • Lead test case reviews and help organize our test suites, so they’re clear, scalable, and easy to maintain.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QE partners to align on integration risks, test coverage, and quality expectations.
  • Identify, triage, and verify defects while digging into logs, APIs, and services to uncover why issues occur.
  • Run automation test suites and supervise CI pipelines (such as Jenkins), sharing insights when failures appear.
  • Represent the System Integration Testing team in feature discussions and planning sessions, offering thoughtful quality insights!

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about system behavior, enjoys unraveling complex interactions, and takes pride in well-designed test strategies. If you love discovering how things connect—and how they break—you’ll feel right at home with us!

You bring:

  • 5+ years of QA experience with a strong foundation in modern testing practices and methodologies.
  • Expertise in System Integration Testing and comfort navigating architecture diagrams.
  • Experience crafting test plans and scenarios based on product requirements and technical designs.
  • Familiarity with Jira, qTest, QMetry, or similar tools for planning and tracking work.
  • Hands-on API testing experience (e.g., Postman)
  • Ability to run automated tests and interpret CI pipeline results (Jenkins experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills for diagnosing issues across systems and environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for optimally partnering with product development, and QA teams.
  • Experience leading small to medium testing efforts and collaborating closely with engineering partners.
  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$57.98 - $86.92 USD
