A boutique music merchandising company representing top artists in touring, eCommerce, and retail channels has an immediate opening for an Art Coordinator reporting to the Creative Director.
The Art Coordinator position at The Merch Collective is responsible for aiding in arguably the most important part of the artist merchandise creation process. Working alongside and in aide to the greater Art Department, this role serves as a critical role in making quick design updates, preparing design mockups for client review, and creating final design files for Production.
What you'll do:
- Handle mockup creation for designs on soft goods and accessories.
- Execute routine design edits from freelance artists and internal team.
- Create PDF’s of design mockups for easy internal and client review.
- Organize and creates comps.
- Set up final production-ready files.
Who you are:
- 1-3+ years design experience, preferably in the music merchandising industry.
- Creative, pragmatic design eye.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Understands screen-printing and embroidery processes.
- Knowledge of color theory.
- Ability to create custom and accurate garment/accessory mockups.
- Ability to color separate design files.
- Ability to edit colors within flat design files.
- 3D CAD capabilities is a plus.
- Highly organized.
