As the Specialist, Leacy Digital Release Planning:
What you'll do:
- Schedule audio & video releases for all assigned Legacy digital products; gathering key assets/metadata and updating statuses as the projects progress
- Oversee delivery of all assigned releases coordinating closely with Digital Operations, Sales and Marketing to ensure releases are available on time, as detailed in the release plan
- Track clearances for all assigned releases with Business Legal Affairs and Copyright and communicate issues as needed
- Manage timely ingestion of all assets for assigned products into AOMA (proprietary asset storage & delivery system)
- Manage Legacy Branded YouTube Channels (high volume, manually delivered and claimed)
- Video Inline Swaps/Video Asset Upgrades (UpRes’d SD and HD videos)
- Manage all Legacy Digital Video Longform products in conjunction with Sony Music Vision (Sony Music’s Film & TV division)
- Maintain consistency between the Legacy Digital Release schedule and the Sony Music Vision release schedule, to ensure the two groups stay synchronized.
- Digital Catalog Maintenance (product updates, resolution of partner tickets, curation requests, scheduling updates, research into product history, rights checks, etc.)
- Represent Legacy Recordings in weekly meeting with A&R and Sony Music Vision
Who you are:
- College graduate with 2 years of previous experience in the music industry preferred
- Calm, positive, and professional demeanor within a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility in adapting and reprioritizing tasks
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Suite (including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Additional skills/traits needed to succeed in this position include: organization, discretion, confidentiality, initiative, meticulous attention to detail and multi-tasking; ability to handle and work with all types of personalities; sensitivity to cultural differences; self-confidence; ability to excel in stressful and demanding situations; resourcefulness; ability to anticipate what’s next and proactively work to solve any issues; strong work ethic; sense of humor

New York Pay Range
$64,350 - $68,000 USD
