WTOL 11 in Toledo, OH, is looking for a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated Temporary Sales and Copy Coordinator from October 7 to November 8, 2024. Sales and traffic assistants input all broadcast orders into our traffic system and ensure the appropriate commercial messages run according to advertiser instructions. If you pay close attention to details and thrive in a fast-paced team environment, we want to talk to you.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, work with a high level of accuracy, be very detail-oriented, be able to problem-solve, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

 

• Securing and processing traffic instructions for all advertisers.
• Entering all copy-related information using our WideOrbit traffic software.
• Process all commercials received via FTP, internal production, and other delivery sources for daily processing by the master control hub (TSC) in Charlotte, NC.
• Maintain active and archival commercial library
• Attach traffic instructions to WOT paperclip for digital file system
• Resolve commercial issues with master control hub (TSC), clients, and sales
• Provide customer service and other assigned tasks on a local and national level
• Send daily missing instructions report to the sales team
• Primary sales duty involves order entry for national and political orders into Wide Orbit Traffic while being highly detail-oriented with a goal of 100% accuracy.
• Back up for local order entry

Requirements:

 

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Must be highly motivated and ambitious with a "can do" attitude
• Previous broadcasting experience preferred
• Experience in WideOrbit Traffic preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
