Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire commercial production process, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring efficient workflows, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
  • Production Planning: Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring all milestones are met, and resources are allocated effectively. This includes budgeting, location scouting, talent coordination, and equipment management.
  • Sales Production Workflow: Oversee and build systems that operate seamlessly between sales floor and production.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the key point of contact between clients and the production team, ensuring that client expectations are clearly understood, communicated, and met throughout the production process.

  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of production quality, overseeing all creative and technical aspects of production to ensure the final product meets both the company's and clients’ expectations.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Source and manage external vendors, freelancers, and contractors (e.g., cinematographers, sound engineers, lighting technicians), ensuring that all third-party participants deliver their services on time and within budget.
  • Compliance & Legal: Ensure all production activities comply with legal, safety, and contractual requirements, including acquiring permits, managing rights and clearances, and overseeing insurance needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively address and resolve production issues, whether logistical, technical, or creative, ensuring minimal disruption to the production schedule.
  • Post-Production Coordination: Work closely with post-production teams (editors, sound designers, etc.) to ensure that the final product aligns with the creative vision and meets the agreed-upon quality standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production expenses, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial production management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale video projects.
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production, shooting, post-production, and delivery.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing production budgets, including the ability to negotiate and manage costs effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with experience managing both internal teams and external vendors/contractors.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate production needs, progress, and expectations.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and handle production challenges effectively.
