About the role:
The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Dir, Compliance & ITAAC Automation to spearhead the digital transformation of our NRC ITAAC (Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria) compliance processes. This critical role will lead the development and implementation of automated solutions to streamline regulatory submissions, enhance audit tracking, and improve overall compliance efficiency. This role will report into the SVP, Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop AI models that automate ITAAC documentation and reporting.
- Integrate smart contract-based regulatory submissions with NRC and DOE databases.
- Work with the AI/ML team to predict potential compliance risks before they impact schedules.
- Oversee secure digital compliance records, ensuring all regulatory documentation is audit-ready.
- Implement real-time compliance dashboards for regulators and nuclear project managers.
Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the nuclear energy industry with a strong focus on regulatory compliance.
- 5+ years of experience in managing and implementing compliance programs.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of NRC regulations and guidance related to ITAAC.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Experience with software development and integration is a plus.
Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical and regulatory information.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $198,000 - $228,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
