QCVV & IV/V Engineer
OPS Consulting is seeking a QCVV & IV/V Engineer to work in Laurel, MD.
As QCVV and IV&V Engineer at OPS Consulting, you will be responsible for the application of statistical analysis, particularly in a research environment. This will include the development and application of new statistical methods to identify performance and error characteristics of novel and unusual hardware. Responsibilities will include both the development of statistical methods, and the review of methods and data developed by others.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required Skills:
- Experience with advanced statistical techniques and using those techniques on complex data.
- Experience with Algorithms and data structures.
- Adept at working with incomplete/weakly validated data.
- Extensive expertise with hardware / software integration in complex experiments or prototypes.
- Experience with complex testing and analysis, including the associated software development. and testing processes.
- Experience with collecting, analyzing and interpreting data with a methodical and logical approach.
- Adept at coordinating with many stakeholders.
- Ability to determine and clarify strategic and operational issues by consulting with stakeholders, and documenting feedback.
Desired Skills:
- Experience performing test and evaluation on research, development, production, and deployment of major systems.
- Experience automating testing and/or calibration.
Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
