WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
As a Senior Manager of Sales Enablement, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling our sales enablement function to accelerate revenue growth and drive organizational excellence. You will lead a high-performing team of enablement professionals, partnering closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to design and execute innovative programs that empower our sales force to consistently exceed ambitious targets.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales enablement combined with direct experience in a selling role or management of sellers within a high-growth SaaS environment. They are a proven team leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a vision to build a world-class global sales enablement function. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Own the development and execution of an enterprise-wide sales enablement strategy that directly supports Box’s business goals.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning by embedding scalable development frameworks into the sales organization.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities through data analysis to continuously refine sales processes and elevate performance.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of enablement professionals.
- Cultivate an inclusive environment that encourages creativity, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Drive talent development initiatives ensuring your team remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
- Program Design & Execution
- Architect comprehensive training curricula—both virtual and in-person—that address skill gaps across all levels of the sales organization.
- Leverage cutting-edge enablement technologies (e.g., Salesforce CRM integrations, Gong, Workramp) to personalize learning journeys while measuring program effectiveness rigorously.
- Sales Methodology & Best Practices
- Spearhead adoption of advanced sales methodologies such as MEDDIC; continuously evolve playbooks that guide reps through complex deal cycles with precision.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize content relevance and timing throughout the buyer journey.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence
- Collaborate strategically with Product Marketing, GTM leadership teams (Marketing/Product/Partnerships), ensuring alignment on messaging consistency and go-to-market execution excellence.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives including managing integrated project calendars that synchronize key launches with enablement activities company-wide.
WHO YOU ARE
- 6+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, sales operations, or a direct sales role within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proven experience in a selling role or leading sales teams, with a strong understanding of the B2B SaaS sales cycle.
- Deep knowledge of modern sales methodologies and training frameworks.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset to measure the impact of enablement programs and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales leadership.
- Passion for coaching and developing sales professionals.
